Donut Cake Brooch - Erstwilder Katherine Sabbath (2024)

Designed as part of our collaboration with Australia's Queen of Cakes Katherine Sabbath, and inspired by one of her real creations, this limited-run Donut Cake Brooch is (almost) good enough to eat! This sweet wearable art piece has been hand-assembled from the most delicious resins, and finished with rainbow 'sprinkles'!

DESIGN STORY
Most adults I know still haven’t outgrown their donut fascination, and why should they?! This is one giant donut to rule them all! An eye-popping, bright pink, sprinkle-covered cake, brimming with juicy strawberry jam and luscious whipped cream.

Each piece is made from laser-cut and layered resin, hand assembled, hand painted and released in limited quantities. As all of our designs are lovingly glued, assembled and painted by hand, there can be very slight variations and blemishes from piece to piece. Due to the hand-mixed nature of the resins in our designs, it is also common and normal to find tiny flecks or bubbles in the resin layers. All in all, this just makes each piece as special and unique as you are.

Necklace chains are made from high quality, hypoallergenic stainless steel. Components have changed over time and older designs may be made with other materials.
